lamar odom leaving lax airport 2013 thanksgiving
Authorities believe Lamar Odom’s drug dealers are to blame for the $250,000 jewelry theft that went down at the Tarzana, California mansion he and ex Khloe Kardashian shared.
According to TMZ, the alleged dealers previously threatened to break into the home to get money that was owed to them. Numerous sources linked to Lamar’s drug deals have told TMZ the former NBA star was running a tab with his dealers, which he never paid off. Sources say he was in debt about $15,000 to TMZ reports that Odom promised his dealers he was loaded, so paying them back would be no problem. He’d also reportedly justify not paying his dealers because the drugs were “wack.” Lamar allegedly owed thousands of dollars to multiple dealers when he left the country to visit Spain for basketball last month.
According to TMZ, Lamar has been being harassed via text message. The texts reportedly threaten both his safety and the security of his home.
Police have not yet officially charged anyone with the theft of the jewelry, but reports claim there was no sign of forced entry. One source says there is reason to believe one of the dealers has connections to someone who works for the Kardashian family and had access to the home. The mansion was unoccupied for quite some time before being sold to Kaley Cuoco and her new hubby in January.
Khloe’s sister Kourtney also had $50,000 in cash taken from her home.
