More than 100 children were treated for Christmas by international recording artiste Gyptian at the Garveymeade football field in Portmore last Sunday.
The children were treated to hours of bounce-a-bout, music, food, and refreshments.
Gyptian, who is spending time with his family in Garveymeade, said that the treat was not a publicity stunt, but was organised by his friends.
At the same time, he stressed, "This is all about sharing with a community I grew up in and not about giving back, as some people might say."
Although this is the first time he has hosted a Christmas treat in his community, over the years, Gyptian has given monetary donations to various organisations and put on similar events for children.
The treat was also made possible through the Nuff A Dat promotional team.
Gyptian is known for songs such as Hold Yuh, a song which has over 35 million views on YouTube.
His latest studio album, Sex, Love and Reggae, made its debut at number one on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart recently.
