Samantha J continues her trek into the realm of the international mainstream music industry, with her second promotional stint along the eastern coast of the United States in three months.

Samantha J was the youngest act in Jamaican recording history to perform on the iconic 106 & Park music programme, and expressed that: "It was amazing to know that so many Jamaicans were so proud of my performance. The live audience at 106 and Park waved Jamaican flags, and there was even a huge crowed outside the BET studios for a meet-and-greet. I am truly grateful and thankful," she beamed.
While at BET Studios, Cable News Network (CNN) had got wind of Samantha J's international media attention and asked her to appear live on their HLN news programme 'Showbiz Tonight', hosted by the entertainment media staple A.J. hammer.

During her trip, Samantha J was invited to perform for the high-level executives of BMI, the leading global performing-rights organisation. She was officially signed to the entity as a songwriter during their meeting.
Gary Bernstein, president of Oceanic Tradewinds Music, Samantha J's American record label, noted: "It was great to see the response from all the high-level music and radio executives to Samantha J's entire body of musical work. We played five songs to the Sirius/XM programming team and they liked every single track, which bodes real well for Samantha's first album."
Dion Summers, programme manager, for Sirus/XM's 'The Heat' commented that "Samantha J is a star and Tight Skirt is a hot record."
