Kidnapped Brooklyn Real Estate Developer’s Body Found Burned In Dumpster

The partially-burned body of a Brooklyn real estate developer was discovered in a dumpster in Great Neck, Long Island this week, a day after police said he was kidnapped in Brooklyn.
Nassau County police confirmed Saturday afternoon that the body found inside a dumpster at a Getty gas station on Cuttermill Road, in Great Neck, was that of Menachem Stark, 39. The body was found Friday afternoon.
Stark, a real estate developer from Williamsburg, Brooklyn was kidnapped Thursday night.
Around 11:35 p.m. Thursday, the 39-year-old victim exited the Southside Associates real estate office, at 331 Rutledge St. in Brooklyn, when two suspects struggled with him and forced him into a light colored 2006 or 2007 Dodge Caravan.
The victim was likely duct taped, police said.
The suspects drove off with the victim inside. The minivan was last seen heading east on Broadway in Brooklyn, police said.
Stark’s wife reported him missing when he never came home.
Police have released a surveillance video of the incident and a photo of the minivan. No description of the suspects was available.
Anyone with information was asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS, log onto the Crime Stoppers website, or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and enter TIP577.
