J.Lo's 'I Luh Ya Papi' Video Is Basically 'Blurred Lines' For Women

Why do guys get to have all the fun? J.Lo and her girls force a little role reversal in new video.

Despite the title of her track "I Luh Ya Papi," Jennifer Lopez is actually waving a flag for women in the accompanying music video, as she should, since March is Women's History Month and all.

The clip begins with J.Lo and two of her girls sitting down for a meeting with a label rep. As the rep continues to throw out a few terrible ideas for the music video — shooting at a zoo, water park, or a carnival — one of her girls asks the question of the century: "Why do men always objectify the women in every single video? Why can't we, for once, objectify the men?"

Can I get an amen?

That leads to the giggling ladies riffing on a few scenarios pulled straight out of the typical rap video, but with a little role reversal. This time Lopez and her crew play the dominant figures, surrounded by scantily clad men.

There's the standard scene in a mansion, where a few sleeping half-naked men are littered across the room. Outside the mansion, the guys are washing down cars (and themselves) with a bucket of soapy water and, of course, let's not forget the yacht scene. J.Lo, dressed in a skin-tight outfit, is flanked by the scantily clad men as she struts her stuff.

Thankfully, though, when French Montana makes a cameo to spit his verse, he's fully clothed.
