singer Sade Serena charting her way on the international scene

Talented newcomer, singer Sade Serena, is already charting her way to international success thanks to her latest EP GermiNation which was released in May by Uprize Music LLC/Island Def Jam Music.
GermiNation features seven tracks, three of which were produced by Jamaican-born John Crawford better known as Jon FX. The 25-year old Serena is from Florida. She is of Jamaican parentage. Her musical styling is a fusion of Pop and R&B. She is heavily influenced by her father who was once an aspiring artiste.
The EP peaked at number two on Billboard's Heatseekers South Atlantic chart and number 46 on Billboard's Heatseekers Album chart.
Jon FX, who has worked with a number of top names in the business, says it was quite rewarding working with Sade Serena.
"Working with Sade Serena was a great vibe. It's good to work with a vocalist who can do almost anything vocally," he explained. He produced the tracks RenegadeSound Of Love and Stranger. He co-wrote Renegade andStranger.
As a producer, Crawford, 29, has racked up an impressive track record. His credentials include the remix of Akon and Young Jeezy's Soul Survivor (featuring Vybz Kartel, Shabba Ranks and Sizzla); Twerk It by Busta Rhymes, Nicki Minaj and Lady Saw, Gyptian's I Can Feel Your Pain and Nah Let Go; I Wayne's Book Of Life and Sean Paul'sBaby, among others.
Crawford pointed out that in the wake of the success of Sade Serena's EP other opportunities have come his way. He is negotiating a production deal with Universal Music.
