Beenie Man performs for charity

Beenie Man will be the latest act to give his support to charity through the fortnightly live music series dubbed Live in the City.
 
Beenie Man is slated to headline the show this Wednesday September 24th.
 
The Grammy Award winning Dancehall artiste is the third headliner to participate in the eight-show series which has so far been headlined by Konshens and Tarrus Riley in a capacity-filled venue.
 
Live in the City, which is now in its third staging, has also featured performances by Bugle, Duane Stephenson, Chevaughn, Delus, Javada among other acts.
 
Each staging of Live in the City supports a charity of the artiste’s choice, and this Wednesday’s staging will see part proceeds going towards the Lupus Foundation of Jamaica to aid in research and patient support.
 
The series is held at the CRU bar and kitchen in Kingston.
