Sweet times for Jordanne Patrice

With her latest single Sugar Rush hot on local airwaves, singer Jordanne Patrice is optimistic her big break is just around the corner.
"The support from everyone so far has been positive. The song just came out and the love I'm getting has been crazy. It feels amazing," she said.
Sugar Rush is produced by Sean 'Razz' Cousley for Razz Attack Muzik.
The 24-year-old, whose given name is Jordanne Patrice Bisasor, is a former student of Immaculate Conception High School. She also studied voice at the Edna Manley College of the Performing and Visual Arts.
She made her recording debut five years ago, with a cover of Cascade's Every time We Touch and Again, both produced by Jon Williams.
Those songs caught the attention of producer/musician Christopher Birch, who produced her first officially released single, How Does it Feel. They also collaborated on the track Ready When You Ready which was followed by In My Bed (done with Voice Mail), Listen to Their Cries, Number One Lover and All For You.
Jordanne Patrice spoke about dancehall's gender challenges.
"It is hard as a female to shine in this male-dominated industry, but nothing in life is easy. I keep going because I am passionate about it and I have a genuine love for it that goes so deep. I'm willing to work very hard to achieve my main goal, which is to be the next superstar from Jamaica," she said.
Touchless drops Slow Wine
Toronto-based deejay Touchless has been making the rounds locally with his single Slow Wine, produced by Universal Linkz Records.

Originally from St Ann, Touchless migrated to Canada three years ago. He has done a number of recordings since, including Work It (with Spice); Bruck Out, Summa Body and Real Boss featuring Don SLR.
