Skrillex return to Jamaica

ELECTRONIC Dance Music (EDM) maestro Skrillex makes his second appearance in Jamaica on Friday at Mas Camp in Kingston, on a concert featuring EDM heavyweights Major Lazer.
They first performed in Jamaica at that venue one year ago.
Skrillex told the Jamaica Observer that fans can expect something different as his shows are not predictable.
"The thing about my style is that I decide what I am going to play a couple hours before and even then I freestyle a lot. There is amazing energy at these shows, so I am really excited for this one," he said.
The Los Angeles-born Skrillex is a multiple Grammy Award winner. Many Jamaicans know him for working with another Grammy winner, Damian 'Junior Gong' Marley, on the 2012 song Make it Bun which sold gold.
He is working on new material, one of which is an album by Major Lazer member Diplo.
Skrillex, whose given name is Sonny John Moore, started his career in 2004 with the band From First to Last.
He shot to fame in 2011 at the Grammys where he was nominated for five awards. He won three: Best Dance/Electronica Album, Best Dance Recording, and Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical).
