The news of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian‘s engagement continues to affect our daily lives, and it’s only been 48 hours. Given the vastness of Yeezy’s Jumbotron proposal, the couple’s actual wedding day is likely to be anything but quiet.
We’ve already started crossing certain celebrities off the guest list and designing Kim’s dream gown. But when it comes to the where, when, and how, there’s still a lot for
the E! producers to plan the couple to reveal.
10. Will they actually go through with it?
With Kim’s mother’s recent separation from longtime husband, sister Khloe‘s marital woes being splashed across the tabloids since… pretty much the moment she met Lamar Odom, and her own history, does Kim actually want to get married again? Does true love exist?! Help us, DONDA.
9. When?
It’s been two days, and we’re still obsessing over the extra vowels in Kanye’s proposal message. PLEEEASE DON’T MAKE US WAAAIT MUCH LONGER, KIMYE! Unless they want Baby North to be able to walk down the aisle. Every moment is an opportunity for an Instagram “like.”
8. Will Beyoncé attend?
Obviously this Very Important Person deserves a question all her own. Jay Z is one of Kanye’s closest friends, collaborators, and professional rivals, so it’s likely he and his bride will get an invite. Given both Bey and Jay’s tour schedule, will they make the necessary room? Which leads us to…
7. Will Kanye live-tweet his wedding night?
Remember last week’s “HEADING HOME NOW” tweet? (How could we forget?) When he’s not using Twitter as a place to air his grievances about Jimmy Kimmel, he’s praising the lady of his life. Why should that change on his wedding day? (“PUSHA T GOT ME THAT CUISINART. #DOPEMIXER,” “TOSSING THE BOUQUET IS AN ANTIQUATED PRACTICE THAT EVERYONE EXPECTS,” “I LOVE MY WIFE!!!,” etc.) But why stop there? Imagine Kanye giving us a play-by-play of their magical first night together as husband and wife! Or, you know, don’t.
6.Who will be included in the wedding party?
With two sisters, one brother, two half-sisters, and two stepbrothers, Kim has plenty of potential bridesmaids and groomsmen at the ready. But will she look outside the Kardashian klan and choose longtime besties like Brittny Gastineau or LaLa Anthony for her wedding party? WillJonathan Cheban be her maid of honor?!
5. Will Kanye perform?
The recent nuptials of Yeezy pal John Legend and Chrissy Teigen featured Legend serenading his bride with his Love In The Future track, “All of Me.” With his romantic streak yet to cool, should Yeezy provide entertainment at his own event, or leave it to a roster of accomplished pals?
4.What will Kim wear?
There are likely many designers gunning for the role of Kardashian Wedding Gown Kreator, but given Kanye’s connections to the fashion world, how much of a say will he have? Should he just shut us all up once and for all and design it himself? Leather jogging pants for all!
5.Will it be televised?
Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event drew in huge ratings for E! in 2011, with 4.4 million and 4 million viewers tuning in for parts one and two, respectively. At the time it was the third-highest event for the network, and capped a season’s worth of chatter around Kim’s big day. Filing for divorce from Kris Humphries just 72 days later led to allegations of fraud and a terribly long legal battle. After all that drama, is she happy to have a day she’s been trying to put behind her available On Demand? Eh. And maybe it’s different with Kanye, but would she want to go through all of that again? Prepare to make the pitch of a lifetime, Ryan Seacrest.
2. Will Bruce Jenner attend?
Kris and Bruce recently announced their separation after 22 years of marriage. The former Olympian is a fixture in Kim’s life, so it makes sense that he’d be there–and could very well end up walking his stepdaughter down the aisle. But what if Bruce and Kim’s relationship takes a sour turn after the split? What if Kris bans her soon-to-be ex from the ceremony? It’s not like we haven’t seen a Sad Bruce Jenner face before…
