Ciara is engaged.
The singer agreed to marry rapper-and-producer Future after he surprised her with a proposal as they celebrated her 28th birthday over the weekend.
Ciara was left stunned when Future got down on one knee and presented her with an impressive 15-carat diamond engagement ring.
The star's publicist Chris Chambers has confirmed the pair are set to wed.
Ciara and Future are not believed to have chosen a date for their nuptials yet.
The music stars have been dating for around a year, with Future confirming they were an item in January following months of speculation.
Earlier this year, Ciara admitted it had taken her some time to feel comfortable discussing her relationship.
"That's where I am at this day and time in my life and I'm also with someone who makes me extremely comfortable to be that way, which is really important," she explained to MTV News in May.
'The way that he makes me feel, why not? If you love somebody you should express it, and now I understand that. There's nothing sexy about hiding your love. There's nothing sexy about people not acknowledging each other.'
Future - real name Nayvadius D. Wilburn ' is currently touring with hip-hop star Drake, while Ciara recently enjoyed success with her single Body Party.
