The war of words came after Perez tweeted to his followers that he'll be dishing the gossip on Chris on the Wendy Williams Show.
The news that he would be the subject of a television discussion didn't sit well with the Don't Wake Me Up singer.
'I hope @ChrisBrown doesn't watch! I'm talking about him on the @WendyWilliams show today and I'm going in!!!' Perez wrote to his 6.1 million followers.
Chris quickly took to his twitter account to retaliate and vent his frustrations.
With over double the followers that Perez had, Chris got his message out to more than 13.1 million fans.
'Thanks for the publicity. Your insecurities are manifested by your hatred. Princess Perez and wicked witch Wendy (sic).
'can't take advice from 2 buff chicks when one can't stand to look at herself without plastic surgery and the other is forever on his period. (sic)" he ranted, making the feud more personal.
Perez then tweeted a picture of a naked Chris, with his and Wendy's head superimposed on it.
24-year-old Chris recently opened up about the 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna, and claimed it taught him how to handle himself in tough situations.
Following a fight between the couple at a pre-Grammy party, Rihanna released photos of her battered and bruised face.
'[It was] probably the biggest wake-up call for me. I had to stop acting like a little teenager, a crazy, wild young guy.
'But at the same time, I learned from it, and it was almost like. I wouldn't say it happened for a reason, but it was something to trigger my mind to be more of a mature adult. To handle myself in situations, don't throw tantrums, don't be a baby about it,' he told British newspaper The Guardian.
