The war of the words between Pharrell and Will.i.am is getting ugly!
First the Black Eyed Peas performer tried to stop Pharrell from using the name "I Am Other" for his Youtube channel because he considered it too close to his own moniker.
Then Pharrell threw some Dr. Seuss shade at Will, claiming that his nickname was a total ripoff of the author's classic turn of phrase!
As far as celebrity feuds go, it was all pretty tame!
Until today…
Now we're hearing that Pharrell is firing back at will.i.am with charges that he's a known song thief!
The N.E.R.D. frontman is pointing out that if anyone is stealing copyrighted material, it's will.i.am, who has been named in nearly a dozen infringement lawsuits himself!
Ouch!
Pharrell is reportedly also ragging on will.i.am for being LESS famous than him!
Pharrell feels he's the bigger star, so there won't be ANY confusion over who's behind the "I Am Other" YouTube channel since will.i.am hasn't achieved anywhere close to the success that he has!
Dayum! Them fighting words!
It seems like a judge will have to settle this one in the long run.
