London 'slaves': First picture of Aravindan Balakrishnan accused of keeping women captive for 30 years

This is the first picture of Aravindan Balakrishnan - the man accused of keeping three woman in his London home as slaves for more than 30 years.
Balakirshnan - who calls himself "Comrade Bala" - was arrested last week on suspicion of slavery and immigration offences along with his wife Chanda.
Police said they freed three woman - a 67-year-old Malayasian, a 57-year Irish woman and a 30-year-old British woman.
The pair were bailed until January.
In these pictures from ITV News, Balakrishnan is seen wearing a brown jacket and blue trousers as he attends the inquest into the death of commune member Sian Davies in 1997.
Sian died after falling from a bathroom window the group were living in.

Her family believe that a 30-year-old British woman rescued by police could be Sian's daughter.
Eleri Morgan, Sian's cousin, told ITV News Balakirshnan was more of a "toothless old man" than a "charismatic" figure.
Ms Morgan said Sian wrote home talking of how she was looking after the "mothers of the world" but was not allowed to see her cousin.
