MAN COMMITS SUICIDE AT MALL AFTER SHOPPING WITH GIRLFRIEND FOR FIVE HOURS

In mind-boggling world news courtesy of Gawker, the Christmas shopping season has clearly become a stressful one in no time flat.
In China, 38-year-old  Tao Hsiao had been walking around the Golden Eagle International Shopping Center on December 7 in Xuzhou with his girlfriend. They had been shopping for more than five hours, and he was ready to call it a day. But the woman reportedly wanted to make one more stop at a shoe store, something Hsiao was adamantly against. According to the Daily Mail, eyewitnesses claim that the couple could be heard fussing and that Hsiao was overheard telling his girlfriend that they had way too many bags and that she didn’t need to buy anymore shoes. The confrontation, occurring on the seventh floor of the mall, became a heated one as the woman started to shout back. Hsiao was then seen on surveillance cameras throwing the shopping bags over the railing. Once he had done that, he went on to throw himself over the railing too, hitting Christmas decorations in the mall before hitting the ground and sending other mall shoppers  on the first floor running in a panic. He died at the scene.
A spokesperson for the mall had this to say about the incident according to the Daily Mail:
“His body was removed fairly quickly.
He actually landed on one of the stalls below and then fell to the floor so although the store was damaged it meant he didn’t hit anybody.
This is a tragic incident, but this time of year can be very stressful for many people.”
You’re probably wondering why he didn’t just turn around and walk away from the situation, his girlfriend and the mall in general, but Hsiao clearly snapped in a way that we can’t even imagine. Let us know what you make of this terrible turn of events below.
