Police seek public's help to identify body

Detectives attached to the Westmoreland Police Division are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the body of a male that was found in bushes in Springfield, Westmoreland, on Saturday.
Reports from the Little London police are that about 4:30 p.m., residents saw the bullet-riddled body and summoned them. On their arrival, it was seen with gunshot wounds to the abdomen.
The body, police said, is of dark complexion, medium build, sports a Rastafarian hairstyle and is about 175 centimetres (5 feet 9 inches) long. It was clad in a pair of black short pants, black and red hooded jacket and a pair of black shoes.
The police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in identifying the body to contact the Little London police at 792-9269, the Westmoreland CIB at 955-2758, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
