Alaine starts 2014 with a bang

If 2013 was a busy year for singer/songwriter Alaine, then her appearance on Tessanne's Homecoming Concert on Sunday, January 12 was just the tip of the iceberg in 2014 for this vocal powerhouse performer.
At the concert, Alaine opened with Lighters Up then had the massive crowd waving their troubles Bye Bye Bye. She invited her singers to share the spotlight with her for a magnificent rendition ofYou Are Me.
Alaine also played keyboards for her soulful remix of No Ordinary Love, which had the audience singing along. Throughout the performance, Alaine congratulated and urged the crowd to celebrate Tessanne's victory.
Alaine finished 2013 with a series of shows, which she headlined in Bimini, Bahamas, Uganda, Tanzania, and Delaware.
The multitalented singer/songwriter also penned two of the year's biggest hits, Gimme Likkle One Drop, a song she co-wrote with Tarrus Riley, and Tight Skirt for new artiste Samantha J.
She was voted 'Female Vocalist of the Year for 2013' in Kenya's Kingston 10 awards, and has been nominated for a Youth View Award for her massive combination with I Octane titled Lighters Up.
Her new single Love Is All I Bring is already No. 1 in St Lucia.
The year 2014 already looks bright and busy for this bubbly singer.
