Dancehall artiste Tommy Lee arrested by Lottery Scamm Task Force Team

Information reaching us here at dancehall reggae world is that popular dancehall artiste Tommy Lee was among several person taken into custody by Lottery Scamm Task Force Team today February 4, 2014.


Tommy Lee, the controversial dancehall artiste, is among several persons taken into custody by the Major Organized Crime and Anti-Corruption Task Force (MOCA) in a major crack down on the lottery scam.

The entertainer, whose given name is Leroy Russell, was arrested in the business district of New Kingston late Monday.

A senior investigator at MOCA told RJR News, that the artiste and six other persons, including two women were detained.

He said the cops raided a house on Brompton Close off Lady Musgrave Road and seized documents, including lists with the names of US citizens and other material used in the lottery scam.
