Dancehall/reggae artiste Bugle has been riding a musical tidal wave with the release of his latest single Anointed. The track was produced by Johnny Wonder for Hapilos.
A video for the track which was directed by Jerome Hyde for Unplugged Multi Media was released last week.
In a release to the media, Bugle spoke about his latest musical ventures and upcoming projects.
‘Anointed is a good song of course and people are really listening to me on a different level right now. So knowing that they are listening and the fact that the song is a good song, then it will definitely do well’, Bugle explained.
Another track which has been doing well is Infidelity which features dancehall queen Lady Saw. That track was produced by award winning production entity UIM Records.
Infidelity has been getting significant airplay and the response has been quite positive. Bugle echoed similar sentiments about the feedback and positioning of Infidelity.
Bugle recently performed at the Youth View Awards (YVAs), where his 2013 hit Nuh Compatible was nominated for Favorite Music Video.
Commenting on his performance which was well received by the crowd, Bugle said ‘I think I did a great job and I was well received. Everywhere that I have been to since the event, people have been commending me on it especially the presentation’.
With six music videos recently completed, Bugle is now focusing his energies on the promotional muscle behind his upcoming debut album which is due later this month. It will be distributed by VP Records.
