Fifty Shades of Grey Finishes Filming, E.L. James Tweets "That's a Wrap"

The sexual escapades are over -- for now. The highly-anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey has finished filming. E.L. James, the author of the erotic novel, announced the news via Twitter on Friday, Feb. 22.

"And that's a wrap…" James wrote simply. She added: "The night is young." Despite rumors of tension on set between the writer and the film's director Sam Taylor-Johnson, the two women were all smiles in a behind-the-scenes snapshot James also shared. "One of us is drinking... It's a wrap," she captioned, with a picture of the pair on the Vancouver set.

The film's stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan have been hard at work portraying characters Anastasia Steele and billionaire Christian Grey the past few months. Back in December, the 24-year-old actress and Dornan, 31, got intimate as they were photographed filming a dance scene. Last month, the Once Upon a Time alum suited up as the twosome shot the famous hardware scene and when Grey gifts Steele with a red Audi A3 car.

"Jamie and Dakota are getting along very well," an insider previously told Us of the costars. "Production is going very smoothly." (Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam was originally cast in the role of Grey, but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts in October.)
