Jonas ready for next project

Nick Jonas says he is 'really excited' for fans to hear his new music.

The Jonas Brothers star took on the job of creative/music director for Demi Lovato's current Neon Lights tour.

According to Nick, his own personal project is taking precedence now and he couldn't be happier.

"I''m still figuring out all the pieces. I''m working on just trying to be creative right now," Nick told MTV News. "I''ve actually got a handful of songs that I''m really excited about."

While the musician didn't want to give too much away, he did say he would be "releasing some news pretty soon."

He apparently feels that artistically, fans haven't really seen the 'real' Nick Jonas yet.

"It''s very exciting," he said. "And I''m ready to sort of show people who I am as a musician and play that out."

Demi clearly has faith in the singer, admitting that '90 percent' of her tour is all Nick. She is deeply grateful for his input and greatly enjoys working with the star.

"Phil [Demi''s manager] and I were going through ideas for the tour and I always want his [Nick''s] opinion on stuff cause he knows exactly what he''s talking about," Demi said. "And he had visions for this tour and he threw out some ideas and they were really good and we just thought ''Why don''t you just do the whole tour, please?'' so it''s turned out amazing and like 90 percent is his work."
