Lead prosecutor in the Vybz Kartel murder trial Jeremy Taylor Thursday described the defence's claim of a letter penned by the prosecution's star witness as a conspiracy.
"This letter is a blatant forgery, it is a concoction, it is a conspiracy by the defence," Taylor said.
In the letter the witness allegedly claimed he saw Clive 'Lizard' Williams after August 16, 2011, the day the police claim that Williams was beaten to death.
Taylor said if the witness did in fact pen the letter he would not have turned up in court and stuck to his original statement.
"This is bogus hocus-pocus that they want to hoist on this court," he said.
