Pitchfork Music Fest: Beck, Kendrick Lamar & Neutral Milk Hotel Headlining

Surprising as it seems, there is now a major American festival not featuring Outkast this summer. Leave it to Pitchfork Music Festival to go against the grain, as today it announced its non-Andre 3000 and Big Boi headliners: Kendrick Lamar, Beck and a reunited Neutral Milk Hotel.
Per usual, the festival will take place over three days in Chicago's Union Park. This year's edition runs Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 20. Tickets are available here.
Pitchfork has also announced the first wave of non-headline performers. This includes a DJ set from Giorgio Moroder, and performances from Grimes, Pusha T, Kathleen Hanna's the Julie Ruin, Sun Kil Moon and Tune-Yards. There is also a reunion from 90s shoegaze act Slowdive, as well as a performance from similarly-named neo-shoegazers DIIV. A complete list of confirmed acts is below.
Neutral Milk Hotel have a heavy touring schedule through August, though they have hinted this could be fans' last chance to see the full band perform live for some time.
Also of note is that Lamar and Grimes both played the festival in 2012, leading up to bigger spots -- both on Sunday -- this year.
If you're looking for a recap of past years, Billboard's Jason Lipshutz attended the fest in 2013 and 2012 with his father and recounted the father-son-experience.
