The steamy dancehall track that was produced by Josh Stevens, K-Kov and Shel K for Black and Yellow Entertainment, was recently added to the playlist of a number of main stream radio stations in the US including HOT 97 in New York.
"The song is doing very well, I'm very excited about how it has been received by DJs all over the world. It's getting a lot at support in the US, Europe, the UK, Canada, Africa, Japan, Jamaica and other parts of the Caribbean."
Since the release of the single a few weeks ago Orisha and Beenie Man have been very busy doing the promotional rounds. So far they have done interviews together and separately on a number of local radio and television stations including FAME FM, IRIE FM, RJR 94 FM, TVJ, HYPE TV and CVM TV.
"We have been doing a lot of work to make sure the song is a success. Everywhere we go to promote World War 3 we get a lot of positive reactions," said Orisha.
Orisha was well received when she made a cameo appearance during Beenie Man's performance at the recently concluded Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival.
"We received a very good response when we performed World War 3 at the Jazz fest. The vibes from the crowd was awesome, they loved every moment of our performance."
The video for World War 3 is also enjoying strong rotation on television stations such as Tempo, HYPE TV, CVM Plus, LINKZ T V, RETV and Entertainment plus.
