Winning a medal in the Olympics can make you do crazy things in celebration ... like showing way too much skin by accident.
Russia's Olga Graf was celebrating her unexpected bronze medal in the women's 3000m speedskating event when she unzipped her skintight suit almost to her waist. Problem was, she wasn't wearing a stitch of clothing beneath the skintight suit.
“I totally forgot,” Graf told the AP afterward. “We have very good suits and they are very tight. … You just want to breathe and you want to take off your suit." She quickly zipped up as soon as she'd realized her mistake.
Graf understands the realities of the Internet era: “Only afterward did I realize that maybe this video will appear on YouTube. But I don’t think it will be so bad.” (No, we aren't showing you the video.)
On the plus side, Graf received the highest thanks she could get in her home nation. “You brought an unforgettable moment of triumph and utter joy to millions of fans by taking the first medal for our team,” President Vladimir Putin told her in a statement. We expect she'll be a little more restrained should she meet the president face-to-face.
