Stein warns Popcaan - 'Keep the war lyrical or else'

Dancehall artiste Stein, aka Brown Gad, has some strong words for fellow artiste Popcaan following an alleged altercation between the two entertainers last December.
Stein, born Jermaine Melvil Lee-King, said he wants to warn Popcaan to keep their feud strictly lyrical. "It's up to him whether this stays lyrical or gets physical. Him fi know himself because mi will put him inna him place," the artiste said.
He also revealed to The Weekend Star that the lyrical feud began in 2011, and makes claims that Popcaan and his entourage attacked him on four different occasions from that period, the latest occurring at Wet Sundays last December.
It was at that event that Stein claims Popcaan told his entourage to attack him, but says it never got too physical as one of the men from the group told the others to stand down. "Popcaan anuh bad man. Him just a mek a likkle money and a hype and have dis one bag a man a par wid and none a dem nah watch dem head back."
Stein also took the time to put to rest claims that he is looking to make his big break by picking an argument with the deejay. "Mi nah look a hype off Popcaan. If mi did a look a hype why mi neva diss him when him did have a hype, nobody nuh memba Popcaan now, a Alkaline and dem man deh a run di place now".
The artiste said that the two have a show in St Thomas later this month and says he looks forward to laying everything to rest if Popcaan shows up. "If we get the chance mi ago dun him lyrically once and for all. Di war nah dun till di whole a dem dead".
Stein released his All or Nothing album six months ago and says it has been doing relatively well. Efforts to get a comment from Popcaan's team were futile as The Weekend Star was told that the artiste could not be reached because he was busy in the studios and going on tour.
