Trench town concert rocks

ORGANISERS of the annual Trench Town International Night Concert held at Boys Town Football Field in Kingston are pleased with Saturday's staging.
The stage show, now in its 13th year, showcases talent from the tough inner-city community, as well established acts.
"The event has lived up to our expectations, and very much so," Junior Lincoln, the festival's co-chair, told The Jamaica Observer.
He estimates about 6,000 to 7,000 persons came out in support of the event.
Lincoln said while the acts were good, he was particularly impressed with the performance of eight-year-old, female artiste Xylophone.
Other performers for the evening included Tony Rebel, Queen Ifrica, Julian Marley, Ken Boothe, Bongo Herman, Kabaka Pyramid, and The Tamlins.
