Waiting to Erup again

IN 2009, dancehall artiste Erup entered the Billboard charts with the catchy song, Click mi Finga.
Not much has been heard of him since, but the deejay says his debut album may put him back in the limelight.
The 12-track set is being handled by Fully Govern Inc and scheduled for release in April.
It features productions from Ricky Blaze, Aleada Records, LMR Pro, Kaeczar Music Group and Head Concussion.
"This album has overseas productions and artistes, with a local flavour blended in. I am more than certain that not only one, but at least three tracks from the album will hit; mark my word," Erup declared confidently.
A native of Rockfort in east Kingston, Erup (real name Kevin Saunders)
Joined Ricardo 'Bibi' Gardener and a group of colleagues to start Heart of Love Promotions. Erup became the syndicate's flagship act, scoring with Gyal a Run Dem Head, his first song for the label.
His other popular singles include We Roll (with Management Ash), Set The Pace, Gun Sound and Baby remix with Shabba Ranks and Sean Paul.
But Click mi Finga, produced by Truck Back Records, remains his signature. The song had a brief run on the Billboard R&B chart and was also used in an episode of the popular Canadian television show, So You Think You Can Dance Canada.
As part of the promotion for his album, Erup is down to do several shows on the United States east coast, starting March 15 in Washington DC.
