A$AP Ferg has just released a new track, “Petit Valley,” a remix of soca artist Bunji Garlin’s “Carnival Tabanca.” Ferg uses Garlin’s electronic soca groove to great effect, freestyling over the track, and waxing nostalgic about he a girl he met in Trinidad’s Petit Valley.

Apparently, the song was inspired by a recent trip Ferg took to the tropical getaway for Carnival 2014. Listen to his romantic recollections below.
