Chilando creating waves with 'Wah Touch' video
Fast-rising dancehall artiste, Chilando, plans to take his career to the next level this year.
Since the start of 2014, Chilando has released several new singles, including Gyal Dem A Wine, produced by Arketek Muzik on the Foam Party rhythm, and On Fire, (Show Di Vybz Records imprint), which is a reggae dub step track released in Europe.
He has also released a viral video for another Show Di Vybz production called Pay Fi Yo Body.
According to the artiste, 2014 has "started with a bang for me. I've been doing a lot of work and I've already released a number of new projects. I have made tremendous progress over the last two years with my career, and the time has come for me to move on to the next level."
Chilando is currently promoting the video for Wah Touch, produced on Solid Empire's Gallis rhythm. The video that was directed by Nellie Roxx and Edited by Xtreme Arts/ Team Cashflow was released a few weeks ago.
There are two different versions of the video. one version is somewhat risqué while the other version is fit for airplay and is much milder.
"People have different tastes. Some folks like the raw side of the music and some like the cleaner side. When I recorded Wah Touch, I also did a raw version for the underground. Some people like it and some don't. They say they prefer the clean version. I know some of my fans are a bit shocked, but you can't please everyone," said Chilando.
The raw version of the Wah Touch video has already accumulated more than 30,000 hits on one YouTube channel.
