New direction for rising star Jahmiel

To say that 2014 thus far has been a whirlwind would be an understatement for rising star Jahmiel. The young artiste's career has undergone a makeover and breathed new life into the budding crooner.
Jahmiel recently parted ways with Young Vibez Productions, his label since 2009. The split was amicable and based solely on a business decision.
His career took on a new direction when, while in a recording session with famed producer Notnice, he captured the ear of Cyndi Davila (Notnice's manager). "I decided to work with Jahmiel because, after watching him for a year at Notnice studio, I saw how serious he was about his singing career. He is very diligent and consistent about going to studio and songwriting, and his talent needs to be known around the world," Davila said.
He and her co-manager Tayla then teamed up with entrepreneur Marlon Baugh, of City Rock Entertainment, to offer Jahmiel a management deal. "He reminds me of myself when I was younger. He is hungry, teachable, and has the love and passion for what he is doing," said Baugh. Tayla added: "I originally met Jahmiel through my friend and business partner Davila, we learned Jahmiel's dreams and goals. We listened and knew then that we should be the ones to help Jahmiel in his journey to being legendary and great."
It's full speed ahead for Jahmiel. He is busy completing his upcoming EP to be released next month, filming a video for his upcoming single United, doing a mixtape hosted by DJ Calico, and performing islandwide.
