Two men were arrested and charged after robbing a pregnant woman in labor in Annapolis, Md. early Sunday.
The woman was trying to get to the hospital with her partner when they were held up by two suspects at 4:30 am. A witness to the crime contacted the police.
The two were able to point police in the direction of the suspects. Police say 24-year-old Devery Kelley of Annapolis and 44-year-old Cornell Robinson of Washington fled in a stolen car, threw a gun out the window during the chase and eventually ditched the car and ran. Both were captured and charges are pending, CBS Baltimore notes.
The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center. Her condition is unknown at this time.
