50 Cent on Jay Z & Drake Beef, “Just Getting Started.”
Over the weekend, Jay Z had his fair selection of words about Toronto’s Drake as he sent shots toward him over the We Made It instrumental. The whole situation stems from negative comments Drizzy made about Jigga in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, claiming Hov’s art talk in his songs was becoming corny which lead to the diss.
Many people are anticipating Drake’s response, but hip-hop beef expert 50 Cent measures in on the situation. During an interview yesterday, Fifty said he belives Drake and Jay Z’s beef is in the early stages. He says, “I think it’s just getting started because we didn’t actually hear any verses or rap from Drake,” “But you know what? It’s interesting. I think you’re supposed to rap about things that are in your actual life. But those are laws that were a part of our culture when I actually came in and fell in love with it. But it’s old school.”
We already know 50 has had his share of beef and says, “I think I would respond to it,” Fif says. “I don’t know. It depends. Sometimes it has to be the right timing surrounding the response.”
