Red-hot dancehall artiste, Alkaline, has been riding a musical wave of success in recent times. The rhyme master, who has taken over FM radio and the dancehall with his catchy hooks and melodies, recently returned to the island after a commanding performance in Vieux Fort, St Lucia.
In a release to the media, Alkaline spoke about the performance, his upcoming tour, and latest musical projects.
"It was a great turnout at the show in St Lucia. I'm very happy with the response that I received from the crowd," said Alkaline.
His 45-minute set was riddled with chart-topping hits, including Things Mi Love, 1,2,3, Touch You, Gal Bruck Out, Ready, Move Mountains, High So, and Obeah, among others.
The artiste is satisfied with his stint in the Caribbean isle and has promised fans in other Caribbean territories that he would be in their area soon.
Alkaline has been on a musical high with a slate of new releases for various producers, including Not Nice Productions, ZJ Liquid's H2o Productions, and Sounique Records.
Some of his latest singles include A Wah Gwaan, On and On, and Weh We A Go Do.
In addition, there's also an upcoming release and video for a remix called Press Play by Rkade, which features Alkaline, Sean Paul, and Beenie Man.
The artiste said his career has experienced an upswing since he changed management. "Since I began working with a new management team, things are now finally moving in the direction that I want. I am now being managed by Real Life Productions, which is owned by Kimona Bartley and Kereena Beckford," he said.
