Son of DJ Papa Biggy dies in US

Twenty-seven-year-old Vaughn Porteous, son of deejay Papa Biggy, has died.
His body was found last Saturday in Lake Wepawaug in Orange, Connecticut, USA.
Papa Biggy (Courtney Porteous) confirmed the news in an interview with OBSERVER ONLINE Monday.
A report on the connecticut.news12.com website said fire crew "pulled a man's body from Lake Wepawaug in Orange yesterday, leaving residents shocked and scared by the news".
Police say the body was floating face down about 15 feet from the shore behind the American Legion post.
No cause of death was given.
Papa Biggy first came to prominence in 1982 when his song Falkland Crisis won a gold medal in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's Festival competition.
He migrated to the United States in 2001. Since then, he has recorded numerous songs including How You Plant Corn and Never Give Up On Your Dreams.
