3.2 billion buyout for Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine Beats Electronics

Beats Electronics founders Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine will reportedly join Apple after the technology giant completes its proposed acquisition of the brand.
 
Reports claims that the firm is keen to recruit the duo in unspecified roles.
 
The rapper is said to be of interest because of his invlovement in fashion and culture.
 
Previous reports have suggested that Apple wants Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records chairman Iovine to spearhead a video venture, but it is unknown what role Dre would take on.
 
The source went on to say that the iPhone maker's $3.2 billion buyout of the audio firm is "70 percent certain" to go through.
 
Apple is yet to publicly announce the deal, but Dre appeared to allude to it in a video, in which he crowned himself "the first billionaire in hip-hop".
