CHRIS BROWN REJECTS PLEA DEAL IN D.C. ASSAULT CASE

Chris Brown has turned down a plea deal in his D.C. assault case and will head to trial.
According to reports, prosecutors offered Brown a deal to plead guilty to simple assault and time served in his Washington assault case. But despite negotiations, defense lawyers and prosecutors weren’t able to agree on what happened outside the W hotel.
Brown who appeared in court yesterday (Wed),  was greeted by fans as he made his way out of the courtroom.
Brown was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault in October, after a man accused the singer of hitting him when he tried to get in a photo with Brown.
He was released from jail earlier this month after serving 108 days for a probation violation in the Rihanna assault case.
His trial is scheduled for September 8.
