The “New Era EP” is a collaboration between the French label Infinite Recordzand the Jamaican reggae artiste Dwayno.
Born Dwayne Forrester in St. Catherine Jamaica, is a humble, self-motivated talented and very articulate reggae / dancehall artist. Dwayno is considered to be one of the leading dancehall artist of the generation – that emerged in the wake of the influence of Mavado and Vybz Kartel. The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence, surrounded by different forms of music in the Old Harbour community where he grew up … In 2012Dwayno took it to the next level with his smash underground hit “Don A Road Don A Jail” a tribute to his mentor Vybz Kartel who has been incarcerated since 2011. Among many projects and tours (New Jersey, French Guyana, France, Saint Lucia, Atlanta, Trinidad, Barbados…), he has been working since 2013 onThe New Era EP, flowing on the electronic flavored dancehall riddims provided by Infinite Recordz. The EP includes 4 exclusive original songs (some with different edits) and 2 remixes. Recorded in Jamaica, mixed in Costa Rica and mastered in France, the multi-influenced project will be distributed as a give away item and available on iTunes for the most ardent supporters.
