Singer Sam Smith has covered Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know".
A snippet of his cover appeared in a recent episode of Grey's Anatomy, but a full live performance made its way onto the Internet on Friday, courtesy of SiriusXM.
Houston's original version was released in 1985 and hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on February 15, 1986.
Smith's debut album "In the Lonely Hour" was released earlier this week and is projected to arrive at number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart, with 150,000 to 160,000 copies, for the week ending on June 22.
That would be second only to Lana Del Rey's "Ultraviolence."
