"Ah music we say, so we love the song, you know that nothing nuh really new, but Nesbeth did a good job with the song, is a good tune, Nesbeth ah good yute. 'Gangalee' represents a freedom fighter vibe, free from the system weh dem create fi keep we down, and Nesbeth deliver the same kinda spirit in his song," Louie Culture said.

The controversial single, which is a take-off of Louie Culture's 1990s classic Gangalee, has placed Nesbeth in the spotlight once again. The song is currently racing up the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart, and now occupies the pole position on the Stampede Street Charts, where it has been number one for two weeks.

"Mi just have to give thanks to Louie Culture for his direction and strength and mi a look forward to performing on his show, 'Portland Splash' on July 26th," Nesbeth said.

Nesbeth has been on a tour in recent times. Recently, he wowed the audience during the Tropical Lagoon Resorts-sponsored Boston Jerk and Music festival, held at the Boston community centre in Portland. Residents of Portland are still talking about Nesbeth's electric set on stage, especially his radio hit, Ole Gangalee.

"Even after the show, two fans backstage were blasting out Gangalee ... people were into every bit of my performance, so mi give thanks," he said..

The video for Ole Gangalee continues to generate heat in the industry, enjoying strong rotation on a number of TV stations, including HYPE TV, RETV, CVM Plus and Swag TV. Nesbeth also recently appeared on the popular Heart and Soul feature on IRIE FM, which is hosted by Elise Kelly.

He is currently promoting a new single called Taste Victory on the Entertainment Soul imprint.
