The superstar couple have been rocked for months by rumours their relationship is on the rocks - despite putting on a united front while performing their On The Run Tour.
But PageSix now reports executives at concert promoting giant Live Nation, as well as at TV network HBO, which is soon to release a special on the concert series, called a meeting on Thursday amid fears the stars' brand could be tarnished beyond repair.
According to the report, executives from both sides wanted to put out a statement to address the rumours. However Beyoncé and Jay Z are said to have been unable to agree on what to say.
Apparently Live Nation and HBO chiefs worry the $100 million tour may not even last through is scheduled finale in Paris next month.
'This may not make it to San Francisco. I'm definitely not sure that they'll make it to Paris,' a source told the outlet.
Bey and Jay are playing in Los Angeles this weekend, followed by two shows in San Francisco kicking off Monday.
HBO has reportedly planned for its telecast to air in September.
Apparently those invested in the shows have now hired attorneys to join the couple on the road full-time to ensure they make it through.
'There are lawyers that have now joined the tour, and they're not here just to see them perform. They are here to help hash things out,' the insider said.
Beyoncé and Jay Z married in 2008 and the couple share a two-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
Rumours first surfaced of marital troubles after video footage of Beyoncé's sister, Solange, was leaked, showing her attacking Jay in an elevator in May. There have also been allegations about the rapper being unfaithful.
Despite rumours the couple are staying in separate hotels, with Beyoncé allegedly seen shopping solo for an apartment in New York City recently, the diva is nothing but smiles on her Instagram account.
On Thursday, she posted a photo of herself beaming with mic in hand as Jay Z wrapped his arms around her.
'Thank you Seattle,' she captioned the image.
