Incarcerated Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel is expected back in court today, as his conspiracy trial gets underway in the Corporate Area RM Court.
Kartel, is jointly charged with fellow entertainer Gaza Slim and ‘Pim Pim’ with perverting the course of justice.
Pim Pim and Gaza Slim are out on bail, while Kartel is serving a life sentence for the murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams.
It is alleged that Kartel and Gaza Slim were part of a plot to undermine the police’s investigation into Williams’ death.
It is alleged that Gaza Slim and others made up the story to help Kartel with his defence in the murder trial.
