Carrie Underwood has been 'really lucky' with her pregnancy symptoms so far.
The 31-year-old singer is expecting her first child with husband Mike Fisher. And she says she's coped better than she thought she would with carrying her baby.
"I feel really good," she said during the interview on CMT Hot 20 Countdown. "I think I've been really lucky in my symptoms thus far."
Carrie also spoke about her new single Something in the Water. The former American Idol star penned the track with Chris DeStefano and Brett James, and said she was thrilled with how organic the songwriting process was.
'You never know what's gonna happen when you walk into a writing session. It's not like I said, 'Oh, I want to write a spiritual song today.' It just kind of happened, and I love that."
Carrie and 34-year-old hockey player Mike married in 2010, two years after they met.
The Blown Away hitmaker recently opened up about her desire to become a mother, sharing that she would love to have at least 'two' kids.
'Three is fine. Four? Somebody's getting something done, because we ain't having five!' she laughed to America's Self magazine.
Shortly after her wedding, the star admitted as the youngest of three girls she never much experience being around youngsters, although she was optimistic her maternal instincts would one day kick in.
'I didn't grow up around kids, and I hope those motherly instincts are in me," she mused to InStyle. "I'm sure they are, but I don't know what to talk about with a four-year-old!"
