TMZ reports, Kanye West turned down an offer that was worth $4.5 Million, the best part about it? They only wanted 9 days of work… Yet, this was still too much for Yeezus. According to the written proposal, Yeezy would be obligated to perform 3 shows a week for 3 weeks at the Axis inside Planet Hollywood.
Basically, $500,000 per show. At that rate, he could have been making more per show than J-Lo ($350K), Britney Spears($476K), and Celine Dion ($476K).
Clearly you will need more than a measly $4.5 Million to get Kanye to do recurring shows Vegas. If Mayweather is getting $30 Million+ a fight, can’t Yeezy at least get in the double digit million mark? I’m sure if the right offer was made then he would accept a short residency in Vegas. But then again, what’s 50 grand to a motherf**ka like him anyway?
