Get ready for more of the antics of Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack as The Osbournes return to TV next year.
Sharon Osbourne revealed to Britain's ITV (via Classic Rock) that Ozzy wanted to make a short-run updated version of the show so that he can show off how the family has changed. Specifically, he is now sober and says he was drunk the whole three years that the original series was shot.
Sharon told ITV's Loose Women, "Ozzy has decided he wants to do another few episodes ' not a whole season, about eight episodes ' of The Osbournes. He said that for the whole three years that we did it, he was drunk the whole time, so he said he would like to do one where he is completely sober as he is now because it's been 13 years and our lives have changed so much, it's a kind of catch up. 'What are they doing now?'"
The Osbournes lasted three seasons on MTV from March 2002 to March 2005 when both Kelly and Jack were still teenagers. Kelly has gone on to be a fashion designer and one of the panelists on E!'s Fashion Police. Jack has also moved on to a career in television and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2012.
The new series is expected to begin shooting in January.
