Nick Minaj is good at what she does. The 32-year old has about 175,000 first week sales of The Pinkprint to prove it. But, like most people, Nicki didn’t start at the top. Before she got into showbiz she slung seafood at Red Lobster, and she told Jimmy Fallon all about it last night on The Tonight Show.
“If you’ve ever eaten at Red Lobster, I probably took your order,” she said. “That’s what made me want to hurry and follow my dream because I was like ‘Oh my god, this is not for me. I gotta hurry up and get out of here before it’s too late.”
It was funny little story. And, like a good talk show host, Fallon tried his best to keep looking her in the eyes when she told it. But, as the story went on, his gaze started to drift downward. Check out Nicki talk origins, and Fallon sneak a peak.
