Attempted murder charges have been filed against a woman who allegedly set her minivan on fire while two children were inside the vehicle.
Acting Union County Prosecutor Grace Park announced Tuesday that 48-year-old Narcissa Zuber of Cranford also faces aggravated arson and child endangerment charges stemming from the fire. But Park declined to provide further details on the case.
Zuber was arrested Friday after she was released from a hospital. She remained jailed Tuesday on $800,000 bail.
Park says Zuber allegedly set the minivan on fire along a stretch of the Garden State Parkway in Clark late last month. Zuber and the two children all suffered undisclosed injuries in the fire.
Park says the children have been released from the hospital and continue to recover.
