Jah Bouks won for Song of the Year at the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) Honour Awards, held at the Courtleigh Auditorium in New Kingston, recently. - Winston Sill

As part of the ongoing reggae month celebrations, JaRIA recently hosted its annual award show where it paid homage to several persons who played invaluable roles in the development of local music.

Dubbed the JaRIA Honour Awards, the show honoured awardees, many of whom were never highlighted in Jamaica despite being icons in their own right.
