La Roux Returns With North American Tour

Five years after the release of La Roux's self-titled debut album, a comeback seems to be in the offing: the synth-pop duo will embark on a headlining tour this summer, playing a handful of shows before serving as support for New Order.
The "Bulletproof" group will kick off the dates on June 1 in Toronto, and join New Order in San Franciso and Los Angeles on July 11 and 13. La Roux will also play the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York on June 6.
Rumblings of a La Roux return began early last year, when the group performed a handful of new material at a few dates in the U.K. last March, and played unreleased tracks like "Uptight Downtown" and "Kiss and Not Tell" during a rare stateside appearance at Coachella last April.

"La Roux," which included the Hot 100 hit "Bulletproof" as well as the singles "In For The Kill" and "Quicksand," has sold 207,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album won the Grammy for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2011.
