Former adversaries Beenie Man and Bounti Killer's latest collaboration, 'Legend', has riled up deejay Don Mafia who, in a fit of rage, has countered with 'Angel Clown Them', as he swiftly condemned the pair purported legendary acclaims.
The DJ said the blistering-hot new track is so lyrically potent and explicit, it cannot be released on main-stream media, but is available on YouTube, where it score 1,000 hits in its first week of posting.
Don Mafia, who in recent weeks released a barrage of new singles, including Kill Them Easy, openly questioned the authenticity of the pair's legend assertion and says he is personally declaring a lyrical jihad against the two.
"Legend a car weh me drive and write off in a deadend, but a what tek Angel's clown them? A ova Jamworld me want hold and drown them," he said of the two former nemesis.
The fuming deejay, producer and music composer accuses the two of grappling at straw as their career die a natural death. He asserted that lightening strikes twice, in invoking memories of the lyrical decapitation of the two at the hands of Merciless at Sting 2000.
"Their careers are dying a natural death, and both are seeking relevance in the dancehall. However, I am warning them that lightening does strike twice, me ready fi war them and it's going to worse than Sting 2000," he declared in an interview with TheStar.
He was particularly brutal to Beenie, who he claims owes him millions of dollars in royalty payments and other music-related businesses.
According to Don Mafia, with Beenie's seeming reluctance to settle the royalty payments amicably, the only option he has is to escalate the lyrical confrontation.
